FORT LEE FILM COMMISSION’S 10-WEEK MOVIES & MUSIC UNDER THE STARS STARTS JULY 2ND AND RUNS EVERY SATURDAY NIGHT THROUGH SEPTEMBER 3RD.
Annual Fort Lee Film Commission 10-week summer Movies & Music Under the Stars program at the Fort Lee Community Center July 2 through September 3 every Saturday night starting at 7PM.
The Fort Lee Film Commission is pleased to unveil its schedule for our annual Movies & Music Under the Stars summer program. This year the music / films will run every Saturday night from July 2nd through September 3rd at the outdoor stage / green of the Jack Alter Fort Lee Community Center (1355 Inwood Terrace). Music runs live from 7-8:30PM and films screen at sunset. In case of rain we will hold the programs on the second floor of the Community Center.
This series is free to the public. Seating is very limited so please bring your lawn chairs and / or blankets. Our schedule for the summer is below:

Pre event prior to film – US Marine Sergeant John Basilone’s niece to introduce program and screen short trailer of documentary on her Uncle (Legacy of a Hero). The newly inducted NJ Hall of Fame member and the hero of Guadalcanal and Iwo Jima – Medal of Honor Winner John Basilone, born in NJ, was killed in action in WWII at Iwo Jima.

Prior to film we have a very special live program with the stars of Broadway Danny Rose Nick Apollo Forte and Joe Franklin who will be interviewed by Michael T. Wright. Nick will also sing some songs from the film.
