The Gangs of Fort Lee Historic Jitney Tour
The Fort Lee Film Commission, the Fort Lee Historical Society and the Fort Lee Historic Committee sponsor this semi-annual historic jitney tour of Fort Lee. This tours theme will be the sites / locations used in gangster films shot in Fort Lee from D.W. Griffith's "The Musketeers of Pig Alley" (1912) , the first American gangster film, to the classic 20th Century Fox film noir "The Kiss of Death" (1947), to Martin Scorsese's "Goodfellas"(1990), partially shot in Fort Lee, to the many location shoots of "The Sopranos" and Law & Order SVU.
