Missing Bedminster Man's Cell Phone Traced to Fort Lee-area

A cell phone belonging to a missing Bedminster man has been traced to the Fort Lee-area, according to a report published Friday.

Relatives and friends have continued their search for Roger Temple, 44, who has been missing since June 19. 

Earlier this week Temple’s family offered up a $2,000 reward for information leading to his location, according to Bedminster Police.

Temple, an avid hiker, was last heard from via text on June 19 and was last seen at his home on the same date.

Police told Bedminster Patch this week that hiking clubs, police in state parks and Crime Stoppers of Somerset County have been asked to assist in the search.

Temple's friends also have set up a Facebook page seeking information on Temple, and offering him assurances he is "loved and missed."

Anonymous tips can be made to Crime Stoppers of Somerset County, by calling 888-577-8477 or via the organization’s online form.

Temple is a white male who is approximately 5-foot 7-inches and weighs 175 pounds. Authorities said he has hazel eyes, partially gray hair and a small mole on the left side of his nose. He has an English accent.

Temple is a research investigator at Sanofi-Aventis, according to his Linked in account.
