I grew up in Fort Lee -on Hoym Street -across from No. 1 school...

My name was Pat Tyler when I graduated from Fort Lee HS.  My mother, Betty, was active in No.1 School PTA for many years.  My father, Sidney, was a dentist, with an office on Main St. above the old Jerry's Pizzaria. (Everybody loved Jerry's, but we never went...Dad stood over Jerry's kitchen while treating his patients....the aroma of pizza five days a week...and a half day on Wednesday......turned him off......It wasn't until I grew up and married that I tasted Pizza at Jerry's - yummmm........

but then I got involved with Japanese food...and Japanese people in Fort Lee......
