Maxim Almenas
As of June 11, Maxim Almenas, a Fort Lee resident for over 20 years, is the Guest Editor for ParamusPatch.com. He looks forward to getting to know all things Paramus as well the people that make Paramus a great community.   
He is also a partner and co-founder of TriTrekker, LLC, a sports media company specializing in the sport of triathlon. Maxim is a video producer, writer, journalist, and voiceover artist who worked with various television networks including NBC News and Mun2. Since 2006, he was a staff writer at North Jersey Media Group (NJMG) for the Fort Lee Suburbanite, Leonia Life and Edgewater View. During his tenure, he won numerous journalism awards from the New Jersey Press Association including three awards in 2010, and First Place in Feature Writing in 2008. Maxim left NJMG in January 2012 to launch TriTrekker.com and Human Triumph, a reality series based on his first time training for the inaugural Ironman U.S. Championship coming to Fort Lee/NYC on Aug 11, 2012. As a volunteer, he has coached for the Fort Lee American Little League and currently teaches CCD for the Madonna Church youth ministry group. He is also a member of the Fort Lee Film Commission, the Fort Lee Historical Society, and the National Association of Latino Independent Producers. Maxim is also a board member of the Borough of Fort Lee Ironman Triathlon Committee, and a member of the Triathlon Business International association.   He has freelanced as a reporter and guest editor for FortLee.Patch.com and looks forward to becoming a permanent member of the Patch team through ParamusPatch.com.
