Scattered weather-related outages possible in the area.
Electricity in the Englewood-area has been restored after 8,000 customers lost power this morning, according to Public Service Electric and Gas. Widespread outages were reported in Englewood, Fort Lee and the southern end of Tenafly. Smaller outages were reported in Teaneck and Bergenfield. PSE&G spokeswoman Annette Hicks said service was restored around 8:30 a.m. after weather-related outages. Scattered outages are possible in the area, Hicks said. Route 4 in Englewood was closed earlier today after reports of a downed wire. The highway has since been reopened.
