Town Hall meeting partnered parents with emergency services, elected officials and members of the Board of Ed to discuss school safety. Having missed two BOE meetings since January, parents say they want action taken to remove Engravalle. Superintendent says that despite his absences, his focus is on the students, teachers and educational quality of Fort Lee's schools. The ACLU says that many local police don't know the rules for residents to file complaints against officers, but Fort Lee does. Fort Lee Police are going out into the community to stress pedestrian safety, with the support of the Mayor and Council. The annual ceremony preceded Thursday’s Mayor and Council regular meeting.
