Principal Attacked During Field Day
Police charged Joseph Dimino with aggravated assault and a litany of other charges, including violating a restraining order, after he allegedly punched Fort Lee School No. 3 principal Robert Kravitz in the head Tuesday morning outside the school.
Police have charged the ex-husband of an employee at Fort Lee School No. 3, with aggravated assault for allegedly punching the principal at the school in the head during Field Day on Tuesday morning, before following him inside the school and continuing the attack, police said. The alleged incident occurred during Field Day activities at the school so principal Robert Kravitz, teachers and students were all outside the building. Joseph Dimino, of Fort Lee, allegedly started yelling obscenities at Kravitz from a fence that divides the school property from Domino’s residence next door, according to police. Mr. Kravitz should spend the summer in a self-defense course so the next time he is assaulted he could knock his assailant to the ground, and if he gets up, knock him down again. I know just the school where he could become an eight-week wonder (July and August). more ›
