Fort Lee Voters To Elect Two Council, Three School Board Members

A total of nine candidates are running in local elections—four for two seats on the Council, and five for four seats—three, three-year terms and one unexpired one-year term—on the BOE. Polls are open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday.

Republican challengers Thomas A. Bennett and Peter B. “Mack” Campbell are attempting to unseat Democratic incumbent Councilmen Harvey Sohmer and Joseph L. Cervieri, the current Council president.
