Locally owned grocery store earns Readers’ Choice honor for second time.

The results of Patch’s latest Readers’ Choice poll are in, and the winner of “favorite deli in Fort Lee” is the deli section at Fairway Market, which edged out Palisades Bagels & Deli, 41 percent to 25 percent. Also receiving votes were the deli section at A&P Fresh (19 percent) and 3 Star Horizon Deli (13 percent). The win makes Cafasso’s Fort Lee Patch’s first two-time Readers’ Choice honoree, having also garnered the most votes in our “favorite grocery store” poll. Several readers lamented the lack of actual delis in the borough however. “I would not call anything in Fort Lee a real Deli,” said one. “A real Kosher Deli would be great here.” Others said Enzo's on Bergen Boulevard should have been included in the poll.
