Rothman To Lead Defense Industry Trade Group

The former Congressman served on the highly influential House appropriations subcommittee on defense

Steve Rothman says his political career is over, but the former eight-time Democratic congressman will continue to work behind the scenes with Washington power-brokers. Rothman, an Englewood resident, lost a primary bid against Rep. Bill Pascrell following a controversial redistricting in 2012. NJBIZ reports Rothman has accepted a job to lead a defense industry group at Newark-based law firm Sills Cummis and Gross, which is trying to woo clients from the defense and aerospace industry.
