Superintendent says all of Fort Lee’s public school sustained some form of damage from the storm except for School No. 4.
Wednesday will be the third straight day Fort Lee students will have the day off.
Fort Lee public schools will be closed Tuesday, Oct. 30 because of the storm, as state Education Commissioner issues statement urging schools to close statewide.
There will be no school for Fort Lee students Monday, Oct. 29, school officials said Sunday. All after-school activities are also cancelled as is the BOE meeting scheduled for Monday evening. School officials have not yet made a decision about Tuesday.
The Oct. 17 school board candidates' debate will air on Nov. 1 and Nov. 3 at 8 p.m. on Time Warner channel 81 and FiOS channel 34.

The debate will take place next Thursday evening, Nov. 1, at the Fort Lee Public Library. United Republican Club of Fort Lee president says the debate will not be partisan, but one candidate has yet to accept the group’s invitation.
First-time Fort Lee Board of Education candidate David Sarnoff said incumbent John Bang challenged his petition to run for the school board based on a technicality. Bang, an attorney, said it wasn’t personal.
Assistant Superintendent Sharon Amato says a fourth Kindergarten class will be added “as soon as humanly possible,” after overcrowding forced school officials to act.
The Fort Lee Board of Education’s regular business meeting is Monday at 8 p.m. at the high school, and a BOE candidates’ debate is slated for Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. at the middle school.
