When does someone who firebombed 4 synagogues even get bail set? Former student? Are you aware thatRead More the 9/11 hijackers where in the US on "student" visas? What needs to be fixed is the visa system that allows vile terrorists into the US, the criminal justice system that allow vile crap like this to be provided protections under the Constitution when they aren't citizens and life to destroy to US, and liberal "news" media outlets and "reporters" like the writer of this article that look to assist in that destruction by reporting with a sympathetic point of view. The bail system isn't broke, it's working just fine.
Pam Chesky April 18, 2014 at 07:01 am
Am I mis reading this??? If he hadn't firebombed a synagogue he wouldn't be sitting in jail. BailRead More was high because he is a danger to the community or a skip out of the country risk. I don't feel sorry for him to his family in this particular case.

Sounds like these federal 50 guys are getting their training and personal transaction skills fromRead More the IRS (Obama's Disgrace). An admonishment and the chance to pay for the product is definitely the way this should have been handled. Hey chief, report Monday for some retraining on common sense.

John B has to be a lib because he thinks backwards. If this guy intentionally refilled his sodas atRead More regular intervals, then fine, make him pay a reasonable penalty, which is perfectly justified if he did do something wrong. But, JB is defending a KGB-style operation, here. This is what the Bush and Obama (and quite possibly, Clinton) administrations got into motion. And, of course Obama is taking it to the max. Our entire government needs to be completely cleaned out, reduced in size and replenished with real people - not the Muppets!

It is the social responsibility of the adults in a community to give a voice for the little onesRead More that cannot speak for themselves- in this case, it is our responsibility to vote FOR the referendums to give every child the same right to healthy, safe education. Tom you are obviously an internet TROLL! And Genius I never said she would be a GOOD Leader!!! IRead More simply stated she might have put a stop to or slowed what has happened to this country. Given the fact that she certainly was well aware of all the players in Washington DC. But this of course of my own opinion and I am a realist and understand that there are those that believe there is NOTHING WRONG with the state of this nation. Of course I might also believe those individuals are living in Egypt on Denial!!! (Hint: Read it fast it makes a funny kind of sense!) But again that would be MY belief. Shhhh Please don't tell anyone in the Government though that might disagree!!! Lest they send 5 fully armed Swat teams to my little spot in the world all of those Swat members being fully armed with the latest in Anti Terrorist weaponry to storm my little home that doesn't have any kind of a weapon unless you consider my 1.5 year old clownish French Bull dog some kind of evil canine??? LMFAO And after they kick in all my doors and windows all they will find is an old kitchen scale that measures food weight and calories!!!! OMG and you know it's the likes of individuals such as myself, middle-aged women that are most certainly the biggest threat to this Country!!!! But take away all the sarcasm and right here you will find a person who will die to protect my civil rights and those of my fellow American. Because I am one of those American's that when I see the someone's civil rights being violated by the Government, or Federal Law enforcement, or even local law enforcement officers. I will stand up and speak up for that person. And I will not shut up and just go away and mind my own business. Because I do believe and Know that to do NOTHING means I am freely agreeing to give up my own rights. And that is never going to happen!!! So YA I am a very proud 54 year old troublemaking military vet that is also a staunch supporter of the US Constitution and will commit civil disobedience making sure it is not blatantly violated in my presence. And there never is a bad day for a REVOLUTION!!!

Dumb idea...Keeping people car dependent even after no major delays reported on day1....proposingRead More toll hikes is always a constant w/ these clowns, but the minute they suspect that commuters may commit to a more sustainable method of travel, they decide there is room in the budget to drop the cost of tolls....maybe the assemblyman has friends in the oil business.

It's the cost of having a car. Deal with it or figure out how to use public transportation.
Alex C April 16, 2014 at 07:19 pm
FIX, why would he need a friend in the oil business? The government profits far more off theRead More gasoline sales than the oil companies do. For every gallon sold, the gas companies themselves profit about 2-3 cents per gallon, depending on the company and the year. The State of NJ profits 33 cents per gallon, and the federal government profits 18.5 cents per gallon.
