Greater Fort Lee Chamber of Commerce
The nonprofit Greater Fort Lee Chamber of Commerce was established in 1950 as a nongovernmental partnership of business professionals with the shared goal of advancing the economic, civic and cultural welfare of the community. The chamber assists small businesses in the community in a variety of ways. The chamber comprises an executive committee and a board of directors. Annual highlights include the persons of the year and annual dinner dance, a business expo and a golf outing. Its diverse membership includes major corporations, retail and professional businesses and community leaders, about a third of whom are based outside of Fort Lee. The chamber is nonpartisan and does not endorse candidates for public office. It is an active participant and sometimes an organizer of a number of public community events.
