Run by the Fort Lee Recreation Department, programs are open to children ages 8 through 17 who attend Fort Lee public schools and Christ the Teacher Parochial School. The Recreation Department offers an array of cultural, educational, instructional and recreational programs at the Youth Center, as well as less structured activities. Programs are seasonal, but include such diverse offerings as music, art and dance and chess, fencing, martial arts and ballet. Individual and team sports include soccer and team sports like soccer, golf and tennis. The center's schedules vary depending on age with some hours set aside for ages eight to middle school, some for high school only and open hours for ages eight to high school.
