Fort Lee Historic Park Visitor Center
201-461-1776
Located in the heart of Fort Lee Historic Park, this 11,000 square-foot building houses an elaborate exhibition on the historical role of Fort Lee during the American Revolution. Viewers are treated to a well curated audio and visual display of George Washington's forced evacuation in 1776, which then led to the famed "Retreat to Victory." Also located on the premises is a giftshop, information desk and 150-seat auditorium.
During the school year, a five-hour interactive program is offered to school children studying the American Revolution. Reservations are required and a fee is charged.
