Fort Lee Farmers Market, Others in County Continue Throughout Summer

In spite of the heat, the annual Fort Lee Farmers Market was bustling Sunday at the ’s plaza area and continues every Sunday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. through Nov. 18.

This year's market , but Tom Meyers of the Fort Lee Office of Cultural & Heritage Affairs previously said, "“We may add vendors as the season progresses."

"I am quite happy with the variety and the mix of old and new, and the anchor of Stone Pointe Farms always brings our market a crowd of customers who return each week," Meyers said.

For Farmers Market enthusiasts, however, there are plenty of others nearby to check out as the summer season continues.

"Weekends are a great time to visit the many Farmers Markets and stock up on fresh food for the week," wrote New Milford Patch editor and Fort Lee native Ann Piccirillo. "Each Farmers Market has something that differentiates it from the others."

Saturdays:

  • Dumont Farmers Market, 10 am - 3pm, Sorosis Park, W Quackenbush and Park Avenues, Dumont 
  • Oakland Farmers Market, 9am - 1pm, Borough Hall, 1 Municipal Plaza, Oakland
  • Rutherford Farmers Market, 8am-2pm, Williams Plaza, downtown Rutherford, Rutherford

Sundays:

  • Ramsey Farmers Market, 9am-2pm, Ramsey Train Station, Main Street, Ramsey
  • Ridgewood Farmers Market, 9am-3pm, Ridgewood Train Station, Garber Square, Ridgewood
  • Tenafly Farmers Market, 10am-2pm, Municipal Lot, Tenafly Road, Tenafly
  • Emerson Farmers Market, 10am-3pm, Linwood Avenue, Emerson
