Eight members of the Fort Lee Police Department Sports Team participated in Leonia’s Run for Fun 5K—Deputy Chief Tim Ford, Captain Bob Zevits, Lieutenant Lenny Cottrell, Detective Michele Morgenstern, and Officers Debbie Siracuse, Tom Keelen, Dillon Turner and David Tropea ran in the event.
The Thursday morning race benefitted the Leonia recreation department.

The Fort Lee Police Department Sports Team represents the Police Department by competing in various community and charitable races throughout the year, according to Fort Lee Police Chief Keith Bendul. They’ve raised money for the Special Olympics, the Law Enforcement Memorial in Washington, D.C., and many other community organizations.
