Habitat Bergen Runners Join NYC Half Marathon

Plan to join Habitat Bergen’s team on March 18, 2012 for the New York Road Runners NYC Half-Marathon.  Applications are being accepted now for runners to join the Habitat Bergen team of 15.  To sign up, please register on our website www.habitatbergen.org.  Deadline for registration is February 24, 2012.  In addition to running the race, each runner pledges to obtain a minimum of $1000 in donations, which will be used to support Habitat Bergen’s future building projects.

Anyone wishing to support Habitat Bergen’s runners with a pledge donation may do so by check (payable to Habitat for Humanity of Bergen County) or credit card.  Each runner’s personal pledge page will be created as soon as they have registered for the Habitat Bergen team.

Not a runner?  You can still support the team in a big way by coming out to cheer them on the day of the race.  Specific spots along the route will be identified for our “Habitat Bergen cheerleaders” to show these great athletes how much their efforts are appreciated.  Watch www.habitatbergen.org for more details as race day approaches.
