League President, Michael Klein, announces that on Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2012 the Fort Lee Girls Recreation Basketball League will be holding its opening ceremonies at 6 p.m. at the Lewis F. Cole Middle School. Mayor Mark Sokolich will be tossing up the opening tipoff to start the 2012 season followed by four games. Two games will be played at the 3rd & 4th grade division and two will be played at the 5th & 6th grade division. The ceremonies will include coaches and players at all levels, sponsors, parents, friends, and town dignitaries.
