Fort Lee Junior Bridgemen Football Teams Championship Playoff Bound

All three teams play Friday night in Englewood after wins in the first round of the playoffs last weekend.

All three three Fort Lee Junior Bridgemen football teams--PeeWee, Junior and Senior--have advanced to the Championship Playoff games. They will be playing on the road against Englewood on Friday night. The winners of the championship games advance to the Art McDonald Championship Games on Friday, Nov. 18, in Ridgefield.

Last weekend, during the first round playoff games played on Fort Lee's home turf and in Palisades Park, the Fort Lee PeeWee team blanked Cliffside Park on Friday, 35–0.

And on bitterly cold Saturday night, it was the Junior and Senior teams' turn. The Junior team also played against Cliffside Park, putting up a lot of points for a comfortable lead, but a pesky Cliffside Park team was able to stay in the game, scoring a couple of touchdowns of their own. In the end, came out of the game with a 60-37 victory.
