School 4 PTA’s Annual Fundraiser, Dinner Dance Brings in $10K

Fort Lee School No. 4 PTA members hailed this year's event as a success.

The PTA hosted its annual Spring Dinner Dance and Fundraiser Friday at the , raising roughly $10,000.

The event featured about 50 prizes, including a signed Jeremy Lin jersey, a signed Justin Tuck football, a flat-screen TV, a trip to Curacao and much more.

The theme of this year’s fundraiser was "An Evening in Paris," and the PTA brought in a seven-foot Eiffel Tower for the occasion.
School No. 4 PTA president Ada Garcia said 180 people attended the fundraiser, which she called a “great success.”

“[The fundraiser] was attended by parents, faculty, staff, administrators, board members and the Mayor and Councilman Mike Sargenti,” Garcia said. “Everyone danced and had a great time.”
She said a lot of hard work goes into planning the event each year.

“It’s like planning a wedding,” Garcia said.
