John Barrymore Birthday Bash Benefits Fort Lee High School Drama Dept.

Event begins at 6 p.m. on Saturday.

The Fort Lee Film Commission will hold its annual John Barrymore Birthday Fundraiser on the actor's birthday, Feb. 15.

The event starts at 6 p.m. with a wreath laying at John Barrymore Way on the corner of Main Street and Central Road across from In Napoli Restaurant at 116 Main St. in Fort Lee.

The event will then head to the In Napoli Restaurant's bar until 6:30 p.m., then to the adjacent JD's Steak Pit Bar from 6:30 to 7 p.m., then to Santorini Taverna bar on Central Road from 7 to 7:30 pm., and then to GW Grill at 2139 Hudson Terrace where all ticket holders will be able to have a pizza and soft drink dinner at no additional charge.

All funds raised will be dedicated to the Fort Lee High School Drama Department in Jack Barrymore's name. Jack Barrymore made his stage debut at Buckheister's Hotel opposite present day 116 Main St. in 1900 in a Fort Lee Fire House fundraiser staged by his dad, Broadway thespian and Coytesville—Fort Lee—resident Maurice Barrymore.

Call the Fort Lee Film Commission at 201-693-2763 to reserve tickets which are $20 each.

The event will also showcase few of the great restaurants in Fort Lee.
