Fort Lee Public Schools Closed Wednesday
Tuesday decision means extended school day program and all after school activities have also been cancelled.
The Fort Lee School District cancelled Wednesday's school and after school programs following heavy snowfall that was expected to continue through Tuesday night.
The announcement was made on the Fort Lee Public Schools website Tuesday:
"School is canceled Wednesday, January 22nd due to inclement weather. The Extended School Day Program and all after school activities are also canceled. Please plan accordingly."
The board of ed meeting previously scheduled for Tuesday evening was postponed until Thursday, Jan. 23, at 8 p.m. in the High School Media Center.
