Fort Lee Bowling Teams Earn High Honors
Members of the boys and girls bowling teams had a great season, while the Bridgemen and Lady Bridgemen basketball teams turn their attention to the state tournament, which starts Tuesday.
The Bridgemen and Lady Bridgemen bowling teams each had impressive seasons, with members of both teams being recognized by the league.
Head coach Dennis Sayer had a lot to be proud of as both teams finished in fourth place and had hard-working student-athletes show up every practice and every match to represent Fort Lee.
For the Lady Bridgemen, seniors Justine Valdez and Healin Park earned second team all-league honors, and senior Alexa Sudol made honorable mention for the team as well.

The Bridgemen had success of their own, with senior Kei Kase and sophomores James Han and Ammad Quraishi making second team all-league and freshman Philip Plucinski earning honorable mention in what was a superb first year.
“It was a great season and the boys had a great showing in the state tournament,” Sayer said.

The Fort Lee bowling teams now look toward the future as they will look to build on what was a fun and successful season born of hard work and dedication all season long.
Freshman Plucinski making honorable mention for an all-league team is a sign of good things to come. The team also had two sophomores make all-league, and they should all be just as hungry, if not hungrier, to head to the lanes for another great season next year.
The Lady Bridgmen will be losing their two second team all-league competitors but have some up-and-coming young talent ready to step up next year and make it another great run for Fort Lee.
