BOE to Discuss Superintendent in Private, Award Vendor Contracts

The Fort Lee Board of Education's special public meeting is Monday at 8 p.m. in the high school library. The BOE plans to discuss the Superintendent of Schools in private, with "personnel matters" also planned for public session.

The Fort Lee Board of Education will hold a special private and special public business meeting Monday, with the awarding of vendor contracts for 2013 and as yet undisclosed personnel matters on the table.

Among the vendor contracts to be awarded is the selection of a board attorney. Board president Yusang Park said last week that BOE members were in the process of reviewing requests for proposals (RFPs) for all of its professional services and expected to vote on them at Monday’s special meeting.

As of Sunday night, the school district had yet to post a meeting agenda on its website, but according to a notice issued late last week, the board will discuss personnel matters, “including the Superintendent of Schools,” in its private session.
