POLL: Will You Take Advantage of Free Downtown Parking for Holidays?

Parking Authority announces free three-hour parking from Dec. 19 to Jan. 2

For holiday shoppers, diners, residents and visitors to Fort Lee wondering what it's going to cost them to park in town during the heart of the holiday season, the answer is simple: Nothing. At least for the first three hours in a metered spot downtown or a municipal parking lot.

The Fort Lee Parking Authority announced free three-hour parking in the borough from Dec. 19 to Jan. 2 in what has become an annual holiday tradition in Fort Lee.

The program is a yearly effort on the part of local authorities to extend a little holiday goodwill while encouraging residents to spend a little extra time downtown shopping in local stores and dining in local restaurants and eateries.
