Mayor and Council Work Session, Special BOE Public Work Session, This Week in Fort Lee

See what's going on in Fort Lee this week.

On Tuesday, Dr. Doherty, a local chiropractor is speaking at the Senior Center at 11am. Also, Opera classes return to the Senior Center on Feb. 5 as well.   

On Wednesday, Dr. Nasif, a local dentist, will be speaking to seniors at the Senior Center about oral health. Seniors--mark your calendars for Feb. 12--the state of NJ is coming to talk about Medicaid fraud. 

The Fort Lee Mayor and Council is having its Executive work session Thursday at 7pm in the Executive Conference Room--room 201--upstairs at Borough Hall.

Also on Thursday, the Fort Lee Public Library will be hosting a lecture, "Solar and More: Discussion about the Best Renewable Energy Solutions." Learn from experts how you may be able to leverage government incentive programs, the new breed of solar financing options, and state of the art solar photovoltaic energy technology to lower or even eliminate your electricity costs, earn you money, and reduce your carbon footprint. The discussion is being held in the Library's downstairs meeting room at 7:30pm.

On Friday, the Fort Lee Board of Education is having a special public work session beginning at 6pm in the auditorium of Fort Lee High School. The purpose of this meeting is Goal Setting. Action may be taken at the Special Public Work Session.

On Sunday, Feb. 10 at 2pm, the Fort Lee Public Library is hosting a performance by the BALAM Dance Company. Balinese dance, featuring BALAM's resident Balinese guest artist, Nani Devi, and Danzas Espanolas' (DE) Barbara Romero. DE focuses on the Escuela Bolera dance style, Spain's only indigenous theatrical dance style, formalized in the 18th century.
