Fort Lee Polling Locations To Stay the Same

Officials may have to use generators to power a few of the borough's polling locations for the election on Tuesday, Nov. 6, but as of Friday, they say people can vote where they normally vote.

Updated Monday based on Fort Lee Mayor Mark Sokolich's public notice of Nov. 4.

It may be the last thing on most people’s minds in the aftermath of Sandy, with gas still a challenge to get and thousands of residents still without power, but Fort Lee officials said that there will be no changes in polling locations for the election on Tuesday.

“All residents can vote at their normal location,” said Borough Clerk Neil Grant, adding that officials will be using generators to power three locations.
