PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Fort Lee Planning Board will hold a special meeting for the purpose of a public hearing on Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at 7:30 P.M. The meeting will be held in the 2nd Floor Conference Room, 309 Main Street, Fort Lee, New Jersey.
The hearing is with respect to the preliminary investigation to determine whether properties identified on the Tax Map of the Borough of Fort Lee as Block 4851, Lots 2, 3, and 4, and a portion of Block 4855, Lot 2, as well as lands within the street right-of-way that were vacated by the realignment of Central Road with Federspiel Street which was part of the Main Street widening project qualify as an Area in Need of Redevelopment according to the criteria set forth in N.J.S.A. 40A:12A-5, the Local Redevelopment and Housing Law. These properties represent a proposed expansion of the existing Redevelopment Area 5.
All persons who are interested in or would be affected by the determination that the delineated area is a redevelopment area may appear at the hearing and participate therein in accordance with the rules of the Planning Board. A copy of the In Need of Redevelopment Investigation to Expand the Boundaries of Redevelopment Area 5 and boundary map of the proposed expansion are on file with the Borough Clerk and are available for inspection 8:30 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. Monday through Friday.
