Winter Weather Advisory Remains in Effect

Snow may still be on the way, says National Weather Service.

Snow may still be on way Thursday as a winter weather advisory remains in effect until noon on Friday, according to the National Weather Service.

Between 1 and 3 inches of snow could fall in the Fort Lee area after 9 p.m. Thursday according to the weather service. A slight chance of snow is possible Thursday afternoon. Wind gusts of up to 29 miles per hour are expected.

  • Thursday - A chance of snow before noon, then rain and snow likely. Cloudy, with a high near 40. North wind 16 to 18 mph, with gusts as high as 29 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. Total daytime snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
  • Thursday night -  Rain and snow, becoming all snow after 9pm. Low around 31. North wind around 16 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible.
  • Friday - Snow before noon, then a chance of rain. High near 42. North wind 16 to 18 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.
  • Friday Night - Cloudy during the early evening, then gradual clearing, with a low around 32. North wind 9 to 13 mph.
