Two Believed Dead in Leonia Fire

Woman and her disabled adult daughter remained unaccounted for in early-morning blaze Thursday.

Two women are believed to have died in an early morning fire Thursday in Leonia, northjersey.com reported.

The website reported that Harriet Coleman and her disabled adult daughter, Ruth, were unaccounted for and believed to have been trapped in the home during the 5:30 a.m. fire.

NJ.com reported that two Leonia police officers and two other occupants of the home were treated for smoke inhalation at Englewood Hospital. The website reported that the roof of the house appeared to have collapsed from the fire.
