Roethlisberger Foundation To Fund New Fort Lee Police Dog

The Fort Lee Police Department will receive funds for a new police dog through a donation from Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger’s charitable foundation, according to a published report.

"This grant will enable Fort Lee to expand our K-9 unit and enhance the safety of our community through proactive controls which combat drugs and criminal activity," Chief Keith Bendul of the Fort Lee Police said in the NJ.com report.
