Police Blotter: Probe of Meth Arrests Continues

A weekly look at police activity compiled from information provided by the Fort Lee Police Department.

Fort Lee Police said they arrested three men in their late 20s and early 30s and one 30-year-old woman Wednesday, charging them with possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Police said they could not release any further details of the arrest, including names or where they were arrested, citing an ongoing investigation.

Fort Lee Police also arrested a 20-year-old Cliffside Park man Friday, March 18, charging him with trespassing. According to the arrest report, Fort Lee Police Sgt. Kenneth Porrino arrested Isaac Moliver on the criminal trespass charge, which stems from a March 13 incident at 900 Palisade Ave., Apt. 2205 at 4 a.m. Moliver was released from police custody. Moliver’s case was assigned to Fort Lee Municipal Court. A court date has not yet been set, according to police.

Also arrested by Fort Lee Police Friday, March 18, was Kwang N. Choi, 50, of Fort Lee, who was charged with two counts of “terroristic threats.” The arrest report lists the location of the alleged offenses as the unemployed Choi’s residence, 1602 Anderson Ave., Unit A, where he was arrested by Fort Lee Police Officer Dennis Conway. Choi was turned over to the Bergen County Jail in lieu of $25,000 bail. He was released the following day. A court date in Fort Lee Municipal Court has been set for April 7. No further details of the nature of Choi’s alleged threats were immediately available.
