Art & A Biblical View of Man at Fort Lee High School, originally scheduled for Sunday at 1 p.m., and Sunday worship service at the high school have been cancelled because the school is being used as a potential evacuation center/emergency shelter. No makeup date has been announced.

Number four

The Fort Lee Farmer’s Market Sunday is likely to be canceled, according to one official, because it takes place during the very time the storm is expected (as of Friday afternoon) to be at its worst.

Number five

The Fort Lee School District announced that new teacher and staff orientation originally scheduled for Monday has also been cancelled, according to school officials. The orientation will instead take place Tuesday and Wednesday at 8:00 a.m. in the Fort Lee High School Media Center.

Also note: It was announced Friday that all Bergen County parks will be closed on Saturday and Sunday. And New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie announced that all NJ Transit bus service will be suspended statewide at 6 p.m. Saturday. Buses that are already en route will complete their trips.
