Harlem Man Charged in Hit-and-Run of Bicyclist

Lee Williams accused of striking a bicyclist and fleeing the scene on June 12 at the Woori Bank.

A West Harlem man has been charged with allegedly striking a bicyclist and fleeing the scene, according to Fort Lee police.

Police allege that Lee Williams, 47, of W. 105th Street in Manhattan, struck a bicyclist riding on the sidewalk while he was exiting the driveway of the Woori Bank on Lemoine Avenue on June 12.

Instead of sticking around and calling police, Williams fled in his white Chevy Tahoe, according to Fort Lee Police Chief Keith Bendul.
