Authorities were investigating a fatal crash on River Road in Edgewater Friday morning, police said.
All traffic southbound on Hudson Terrace, at Main Street, was being detoured by Fort Lee police as the investigation continued, according to police. River Road was closed north of Route 5.
Fort Lee motorists traveling to Hudson County can take Route 5 from Palisade Avenue in Edgewater, borough police said in a Facebook post.
