Cliffside Park Police Searching for Man Wanted in Connection with Alleged Sexual Assault

Authorities released this sketch Friday and seek the public's help in identifying the man.

The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office and Cliffside Park Police released a sketch of a man they are searching for in connection with an alleged home intrusion and sexual assault on Washington Avenue in Cliffside Park at about 6 a.m. Wednesday.

Authorities describe the man as being light-skinned with a thin build; about five feet, seven to five feet, 10 inches tall with “possibly brown or dark hair;” and wearing blue jeans and a dark, hooded sweatshirt.

Authorities are asking anyone who can identify the man or with information to contact the Cliffside Park Police Department at 201-945-3600 or the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office, Special Victims Unit 201-226-5620.
