Body Found Beneath GWB ID'd as Former Fair Lawn Resident

Philip Bolton, 56, was found last week near the base of the New Jersey tower.

The dead body found beneath the George Washington Bridge last week has been identified as an Allendale man.

Philip Bolton, 56, had no identification on him but was identified through photographic records, according to NJ.com.

Bolton, a former Fair Lawn resident who had been reported missing, was married to his wife, Susan, for 27 years and had a son, Gene Patrick Bolton, according to his obituary.

Bolton's body was found at about 6:30 a.m. Thursday at the base of the GWB's New Jersey tower.
