Assault Weapons, Narcotics Seized in Raid of Fortified Apartment, Police Say

Inactive explosive devices also found in Fort Lee garage, according to report.

A drug raid of a fortified Fort Lee apartment Thursday uncovered more than 30 firearms, including assault weapons, narcotics and inactive explosive devices inside the man's garage.

Onn Rapeika, 35, an Alpine native, faces numerous weapons and drug charges as well as money laundering after he was arrested nearby on Lemoine Avenue where his family owns Nova Pizza, according to NJ.com.

When detectives from the anti-crime/narcotics unit and other agencies arrived at the Fairview Avenue apartment, they noticed surveillance cameras and discovered the doors and windows were secured with locks and steel bars, according to the article.

Rapeika was released after posting $100,000 bail.
