Annual Fort Lee PBA Memorial Service

The Fort Lee Police PBA Local #245 held their annual memorial service Saturday. The annual event is dedicated to all past members of The Fort Lee Police Department. It took place at the Fort Lee Recreation Center/William T. Birch Memorial Park

Fort Lee PBA president Kevin Kosuda asked the gathered members, family, friends and guests for a moment of silence dedicated to all victims of terrorism, firemen, police and members of our armed forces.

The roll call comprised all past Fort Lee policemen who have passed away. The American flag was already at half staff in remberance of Sept. 11th, 2001. A 21-gun salute and a blowing of Taps on the bugle made it a somber event--the first of many services this weekend.
