Accused Church Bus Toll Cheat Nabbed at GWB

Bus had no license plates, police say

The driver of a Harlem church bus carrying parishioners was arrested after he drove through a George Washington Bridge EZ-Pass lane without a toll tag or license plates, police said Wednesday.

Port Authority Police officers stopped the white converted school bus around 7 p.m. Tuesday and charged the driver, 49-year-old Mohamed E. Mohamed of Hollywood, Fla., with theft of services, agency spokesman Joseph Pentangelo said.

Another bus was called to pick-up the congregants, Pentangelo added.
