Thursday, February 10th the Fort Lee Public Library is having a free showing of the movie Some Like It Hot at 2pm in the meeting room.

From now until February 28th the Fort Lee Public Library presents Early 20th Century Art of New Jersey by Barry Schiff.

Save the date: Tuesday, February 15th the Fort Lee Historical Society is hosting a fundraiser at In Napoli restaurant celebrating the birthday of Fort Lee’s own legendary actor, John Barrymore. All proceeds go towards programs for the Fort Lee High School Academy of the Performing Arts. The party will be from 6pm-8pm and tickets are $15 each. Appetizers and cash bar. In Napoli, 116 Main Street.

Friday, February 11th:

Madonna Church 6th Annual Mardi Gras Dance at the Double Tree Hotel: This event is always a hot ticket! Come out of hibernation for an evening of friends, food, fun, dancing and laughter. Puffin Cultural Forum Opening Reception: After the Flood: The New Orleans Portrait Project: Works by New Orleans native/accomplished photographer Lisa Silvestri, who provided portrait sittings without charge to those who had lost family photographs during Katrina. Conversation with artist and preview of concert by New Orleans native Warren Battiste included. Exhibit runs from February 11-March 1. Cupid’s Chase 5K Nationwide 5K Run for People with Disabilities:

Cupid’s Chase is a national 5K Run that takes place in 24 cities, throughout 10 states, on the same day and at the same time. Community Options, Inc.(COI) is the host of the national Cupid’s Chase 5K Run.
