Boy Scout Troop 379 inducts new Scouts

Boy Scout Troop 379 held a Crossover Ceremony last Monday to induct 5 new Scouts.  These former Cub Scouts/Webelos literally crossed over the ceremonial bridge and, in a solemn and tradition-bound ritual before family and friends, they became Boy Scouts.

Troop 379 is an active and growing troop that engages in frequent camping trips, hikes and other adventures as well as other programs designed to encourage boys' mental, physical and spiritual growth.  And of course, nothing demonstrates maturity, responsibility, leadership ability to college admissions officers or employers than having Eagle Scout on the application!

Troop 379 usually meets every Monday at 7:30 pm at the Fort Lee/Palisades Park Elks Lodge on 10th Street near the Lewis Cole Middle School.  Any boys 11 years and older are welcome to join (as are their fathers).  Drop by our Monday meetings or contact John Bang at gengis01@yahoo.com to get more info.
