Last weekend before Christmas! Don't miss snapping that photo with Ol St. Nick. And there are plenty of other holiday (and non holiday) events going on this weekend for the whole family. Activities like a Colonial Holiday Celebration and a PJ Playtime Drop & Shop are all in our Weekend Guide. Go to one or go to them all, just make sure to have a ball. Cookie Decorating
Squeeze in some last minute cookie decorating at Whole Foods in Edgewater this Friday. Whole Foods will provide the sugar, gingerbread cookies and decorations; your kiddos, ages 3-7, just need to bring their imagination. The best part…your kitchen stays clean! This fun holiday event is free, just be sure to registration at Customer Service.

Wintertime Napkin Holder Craft
Stop by Lakeshore Learning Store this Saturday and catch up on your holiday shopping while the kiddos get creative with some free crafts. This week they get to create a nifty napkin holder perfect for those special holiday dinners. Lakeshore Learning Store offers free crafts each Saturday from 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM.

Colonial Holiday Celebration
Head to the Fort Lee Historical Park Saturday, December 22 to experience the holiday’s just like they did in Colonial times. Your kiddos will love this live history lesson, and the cookies and hot cider that will be served. You will also get to partake in a celebration of food, music, cooking demonstrations (apple sauce and apple fritters), cannon firing, musket demonstration, facts about the holidays in eighteenth-century America, and the story of the Battle of Trenton.

Open Skating
Start your holiday break with a super fun winter sport. Head to the Ice House in Hackensack for some “cool” family skating. They offer open public skating on weekends from 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM. It’s a fun & active activity the whole family will enjoy!

Pajama Playtime Drop & Shop
Hey Moms! Need an extra few hours (kid free) to squeeze in some last minute Holiday shopping? Just dress the kiddos in their favorite pj’s and drop them off at The Little Gym in Englewood for their Pajama Playtime on Saturday. Your kiddos, ages 3 & up, will get nice and tuckered out after participating in various activities throughout the gym. There will also be crafts, a movie and pizza for all! Space is limited to 30 kids, so register early. All kiddos must be potty independent too!
