FRIDAY:

Pumpkin Land Festival
The largest fall festival in Northern NJ is in full swing. The Pumpkin Land Festival at Heaven Hill Farm in Vernon ends this Sunday, October 28. Don’t miss this jam-packed fall festival with activities and entertainment for all ages!

When: Friday, October 26 | 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Fee: $7.00 per person, tots under two FREE

Veggiecation
Veggicate your mini chefs with some healthy recipes from Veggiecation at Whole Foods this Friday. Your kiddos will get their hands dirty preparing fun and healthy treats like Pumpkin Cookie Smoothies & Snap Peas with Carrot Ginger Dressing. Bonus: Mom gets the recipes to take home and the kids get coloring pages, stickers and a new appreciation for VEGGIES!

Zoo Boo at the Bergen Co. Zoo
Your costume clad kiddos can trick-or-treat throughout the zoo and enjoy ghostly storytelling and magic shows. Older kids can hop aboard the Eerie Express Train Ride for a truly terrifying ride around the zoo. Munchkins under 5 may want to stick to early hours, since things get devilish after dark at the zoo. Friday Night Fright
Enjoy this frightfully fun evening with your family, friends, and library staff at the Leonia Library. There will be lots of spooktacular activities for all. Costumes are encouraged.

Harvest Moon Hayride
This weekend is your last chance! Pack your flashlights and head to Chester for this truly spooky adventure! This haunting hayride in the dark takes place Friday and Saturday nights through October 27. Afterwards, stick around for music, refreshments, a campfire and more!

SATURDAY:

Rag-a-Muffin Parade
Don’t miss this funtastic parade that even out of towners are invited to. Dress your gang in their most creative costumes and head to Euclid and Hobart St. in Ridgefield Park by 10:30 AM on Saturday. After parading through town showing off your creativity, you will have a chance to win a prize. At the least, each child will go home with a goody bag!

Trick or Treat Scarecrow Mask
Lakeshore Learning Store offers free crafts each Saturday from 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM. This week your kiddos can frighten up some fun as they make a scarecrow mask that’s sure to scare away more than birds on Halloween.
