Fort Lee Ranked Among Top 15 Places for Job Seekers

Fort Lee has been ranked among New Jersey’s top 15 places for job seekers, according to a report from financial information website NerdWallet.com.

The borough came in at 11 on the statewide list, just below Bergenfield. The website looked at factors including the town’s growth, median household income, unemployment rate and overall cost of living.

“We assessed growth in the working-age population, ages 16 and older, from 2009 to 2011 to ensure that the city was attracting workers and exhibiting a trend of upward population growth,” according to the NerdWallet.com report.

Hoboken topped the list and Paramus came in third, the best showing for a Bergen County community.
