Kaneko has been recognized as a pioneer by her uniquely chromatic use of the
instruments. Performance highlights include: Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center,
touring in South America organized by Japan Foundation NY, touring in
Bangladesh invited by the embassy of Japan in Dhaka, Washington DC Jazz
Festival at the embassy of Japan, music directions for a winner of Pulitzer
Prize Paula Vogel's "The Long Christmas Ride Home" and many more
collaborations with world instrumentalists. Program will include a traditional
Japanese song medley.
