For the last eight years the number of participants have
steadily increased. Last year’s participants reached 272 girls. The league
offers the opportunity for all girls to learn basketball fundamentals, skills,
drills, sportsmanship, and teamwork. It is also a chance for girls to meet
peers from other schools and develop friendships. Beginners and experienced
players are all welcome and encouraged to join the fun. The dedicated volunteer adult coaches
represent all aspects of the Fort Lee community including parents, business
people, college students, and young professionals. If you are interested in
coaching please inquire at registration.
The league also has three travel teams: 5th/6th
grade, 7th grade, and 8th grade. If interested, please
