Classical Piano Concert

The Fort Lee Library is proud to support local artist/resident, Eric Clark as he prepares for the Van Cliburn International Competition. This Saturday, February 9th at 2pm in the Lower Level meeting room, Mr. Clark will perform Rameau, Gavotte and six doubles and Prokofiev, sonata no. 8 in B flat Op 84.


The Van Cliburn International Competition is dedicated to finding the world’s greatest pianists. The competition begins with the screening of 133 pianists in New York, Moscow, Hong Kong, Hanover, Moscow, Milan and Fort Worth. Next, 30 of the world’s finest pianists are selected in the search of an artist “who can connect with audiences and touch their hearts…The winners will be offered an unparalleled opportunity to build a meaningful concert career….”
